The first prototype of this system was called Rhapsody. The full system wasn't finished in time, so a subset was released as MacOS X Server 1.0. And the rest is history: Rhapsody became MacOS X, then OS X, then macOS, and somewhere along the way, iOS was split off, and then further divided into iOS, iPadOS, tvOS, and watchOS. IBM’s Lotus Software division is taking a bigger bite of Apple’s Mac OS X.The company on Dec. 28 formally rolled out the latest version of its Lotus messaging software package, dubbed Notes 7.0.2, which will include e-mail, calendar management tools and instant messaging that is specifically designed for Mac OS X.
Mac OS X is Apple's operatingsystem for its line of Macintosh computers. Its interface, known asAqua, is built on a Unix foundation. Although ithas much of the look and feel of the former Mac OS,features such as preemptive multitasking, symmetric multiprocessing,multithreading, and protected memory give Mac OS X improved stabilityand performance. iOS: Based on Mac OS X, versions of iOS run on theiPhone, the iPod touch, and the iPad. The iOS was designed forhandheld devices, and is much more tightly controlled than otherversions of Mac OS X. Despite their shared origins, applications(apps) developed for iOS are not compatible with Mac OS X, and viceversa.

Darwin:Darwin is the Unix-likefoundation upon which Mac OS X is based. Its code is opensource, and it is available as a stand-alone operatingsystem. Although Darwin will run many Unix applications, including theX Window System, it does not have the Mac OS X interfaceand thus will not run Mac OS X applications. Install My Notes app on your mobile device
When your mobile app is installed, you need to connect it to My Notes Desktop to access your IBM Notes applications. In order to do this, run My Notes Desktop Setup Wizard.
